GREEN CARNATION: Denver Show Cancelled

March 5, 2006

The GREEN CARNATION/BEYOND THE EMBRACE show scheduled for tonight (March 5) in Denver at the Bluebird Theatre has been cancelled due to a booking issue between the promoter and the venue. "GREEN CARNATION and BEYOND THE EMBRACE were looking forward to the show tonight and apologize to the fans," reads an official press release. "Hopefully we can come back to the United States again soon, and make up the show to the Denver fans."

In other news, GREEN CARNATION's "lost" acoustic guitars are finally on the way to USA, making it possible to include songs from the "Acoustic Verses" CD in the set from the Salt Lake City show (March 6) and onwards. "The band would like to thank the crowds for understanding their problems, and are very happy that the shows on the first part of the tour has been received greatly by people attending, making the lack of acoustic guitars less important than it could have been," the band write on their web site.

GREEN CARNATION are currently touring in support of their latest album, "Acoustic Verses", which was released in January via The End Records. Check out the tour manager's tour diary at this location.
